Americans for Prosperity - Assist national organization with California outreach. Americans for Prosperity (AFP) and Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFP Foundation) are committed to educating citizens about economic policy and mobilizing those citizens as advocates in the public policy process. AFP is an organization of grassroots leaders who engage citizens in the name of limited government and free markets on the local, state and federal levels. [2004] - No on Prop 68 - Created and organized central California coalition against "the deceptive gambling proposition" - an initiative that would have expanded gambling on non-tribal lands throughout California. Successfully defeated the attempt with an effective alliance of public safety, education, taxpayer, religious and business organizations.

[2004] - No on Prop 56 - Managed California's central region for successful ballot initiative effort. Created coalition of business advocates, taxpayer groups, activists and others to protect 2/3 legislative vote requirement for tax increases and budget approval.
